The new issue of the journal “Graphosphaera. Writing and Writing Practices” contains articles on topics that have already been covered in previous issues (writing in pre-Columbian Mesoamerica and medieval Iceland) and on phenomena o Modern and Recent Times (interest to hieroglyphic writing in recent Guatemala, forging Old Rus book colophons in modern Russia, platbands in present-day Russia). Most of articles are interdisciplinary, written at the intersection of the history of writing, source studies, archaeology, other specialized historical disciplines, historical, political, and social anthropology.
