2025. Vol. 5 (1)
Editor of the issue Elena V. Litovskikh
The first issue of “GRAPHOSPHAERA” for 2025 comprises articles concerning writing and written practices in Ancient Mesoamerica, Old Rus, and Medieval Scandinavia. Two papers are concerned with the treatment of medieval texts by modern scholars: the interest of French erudites to medieval seals, and the history of publishing of Diplomatarium Islandicum. Also, a fragment of the 12th-century Jewish chronicle of Shlomo bar Shimshon concerning the advancement of the Crusaders across the territory of Hungary, is published accompanied by an introduction, a Russian translation and a commentary.
